Dr. Jenny Grigoropoulos was born in Athens, Greece, and raised in Maryland, U.S.A.. She holds an Educational Doctorate Degree in Education, Leadership, and Management, from the University of St. Thomas, Miami Gardens, Florida, USA. She is pursuing her post-doctorate in Educational Doctorate Degree in Education and Leadership. She has written articles in academic journals and educational books. In addition to her academic endeavours, she has intensively and extensively researched therapies that contribute to well-being, mindfulness, and spirituality. She initiated her spiritual journey with Reiki, attending apprenticeship, learning, practicing, and earning the First, Second, and Third Reiki Degrees qualifying her to be a Reiki Practitioner and Master Reiki. Her journey continued with learning and practicing Shamanism of the Northern American tribes, becoming a Paco and practicing the Andean Tradition as learned by the Quechua, and other spiritual traditions including the therapies and practices of the Medicine Wheel, and the Light Language therapies and practices carried down the generations by the Mayans. She sees people and their needs holistically, attending to their physical bodies through Restorative Yoga, their mental well-being through Art Therapy, Aura Healing, and NLP as well as their spirituality through Shamanism and Reiki.
